ATS Pneumatics double acting rotary actuators are pneumatic rack-and-pinion actuators designed for reliable quarter-turn valve automation. Based on the Alpha Pompe RE Series, they feature external travel adjustment for precise valve positioning and smooth bi-directional pneumatic operation.

Manufactured with hard anodised extruded aluminium bodies, nickel-plated steel shafts, and ISO 5211 / NAMUR compatibility, these actuators are suitable for ball valves, butterfly valves, and industrial process automation applications.

RE Series Double-Acting Rotary Actuator

The RE series is a rack-and-pinion rotary actuator for opening, closing and positioning quarter-turn valves in machinery and process systems.

Alpha Pompe / Alphair RE actuators are supplied by ATS Pneumatics from Christchurch stock. Select a listed actuator size to see its price and availability. Compressed air powers movement in both directions; this double-acting version has no spring-return action on air loss.

Operation: double-acting rack and pinion.
Size range: RE051, RE064, RE076, RE086 and RE101; online choices follow the published stock variations.
Rotation: 90 degrees.
Travel adjustment: external adjustment of +/-5 degrees at both ends.
Supply rating: 8 bar continuous; 10 bar maximum.
Standard temperature range: -20 to +80 degrees C.
Standard seals: NBR.
Air supply: filtered compressed air, dry or lubricated.
Valve mounting: ISO 5211, with the fitted connection to be confirmed.
Solenoid/accessory interfaces: NAMUR VDI/VDE 3845.
Construction: hard-anodised aluminium body, powder-coated aluminium covers, nickel-plated steel shaft and stainless steel fasteners.
