EH T Series ISO 6431 Tie-Rod Pneumatic Cylinder – 160 mm Bore

The EH T series is a large-bore double-acting cylinder for pushing, pulling, lifting and positioning in machinery and industrial automation. Compressed air powers the rod in both directions, with adjustable pneumatic cushioning at each end.

Every EH T cylinder is made in-house at ATS Pneumatics in Christchurch, whether you choose a common stroke length or enter a custom measurement. Configure your exact stroke online, view the price and order your cylinder.

Features and specifications

Mounting dimensions: ISO 6431.
Bore size: 160 mm only.
Online stroke range: exact strokes up to 1,000 mm, subject to the available range shown in the configurator.
Operation: double acting, with a single piston rod.
Rod diameter: 40 mm.
Rod thread: M36 × 2, male.
Air ports: G 3/4.
Working pressure: 1–10 bar.
Temperature range: 0 to +80°C; down to −20°C with dry air.
Air supply: filtered compressed air, lubricated or non-lubricated.
Cushioning: adjustable pneumatic cushioning at both ends.
Position sensing: magnetic piston for compatible sensors fitted with the appropriate external mounting adapter.
Construction: anodised aluminium tube, aluminium end caps, external steel tie rods and a chrome-plated steel piston rod.
Seal materials: polyurethane working seals with NBR O-rings for the standard version.

In-house manufacture and delivery

Standard production is usually 3–5 working days, with delivery time additional. An urgent or same-day production request is available through the configurator, subject to workshop capacity and ATS confirmation. Mounting procurement lead time is separate. We supply customers throughout New Zealand and can assist with replacement cylinders, custom strokes and application requirements.
